This combination of degrees gives Dr.Rajguru a broad area of knowledge and expertise that benefits his patients to a great extent. The Prolotherapy Orthopaedic and Physiotherapy Clinic is founded by Dr.Rajguru as a response to the shortcomings so evident in “traditional medicine,” which largely places a premium on high patient turnover while neglecting long-term health care. PTC® is the India’s first center dedicated to practicing procedures like Prolotherapy in an Orthopedic clinical setting. He has received special training in Interventional Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (FIROSM) under the tutelage of leaders in these respective fields from United States. He is the First Indian to learn Prolotherapy from HHPF(affiliated to Wisconsin University, Madison, USA) which is a founder organization for Prolotherapy.
Dr. Rajguru received his MBBS Degree from the prestigious BJ Govt Medical College, and Sassoon General Hospital,Pune; laying a strong foundation in Medicine. He completed his residency training in D.Ortho at KIMS Hubli which is a one of the oldest government tertiary healthcare centre and largest multi-speciality Hospital in North Karnataka recognized by Medical Council of India. He completed DNB Ortho training at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Center, Pune; which is one of the largest hospital in Pune, offering countrys best state-of-the-art health care facilities.
Fellowship training at the highly respected The Orthopedic Speciality Clinic, Pune, under Dr Sachin R Tapasvi who is perhaps the best Internationally known Speciality Orthopedic Surgeon. This fellowship is recognized and accredited by the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). He worked in the Sassoon Hospital as Senior registrar a for a year andd then as Asst. Prof. for more than 3 Years. During this he performed numerous complicated surgeries with a special interest in Arthroscopy and Joint Preservation surgeries. He is passionate about teaching and passing on his knowledge and skills to budding surgeons.
